CRITICAL SYSTEMS THINKING

Let’s face it, we live in a complex word, made all the more chaotic with bias, misinformation, and manipulation.  We see it in one-sided news, polarizing politics, organizational dysfunction, social media exploitation, and AI generated fake content. These forces can create a perfect storm against the truth, whether it is in our personal lives, professional lives, or in the sphere of public policy and politics.  

The mission of Whiteboard Wisdom is to overcome these forces in pursuit of objective thinking and effective decision making.  In doing so we aspire to make this a better world, one where truth, not chaos, drives our thinking and decision making.  Drawing from my career as an aerospace engineer, business consultant, and operations executive at major corporations, Critical Systems Thinking synthesizes and integrates key concepts from three distinct fields:  systems thinking, critical thinking, and decision making.  

Whether it’s in our speaking events, or in working with clients individually or in workshops, we do not offer opinions or take sides.  Our goal is not to tell you what to think, but rather to teach you how to confront complexity and overcome the forces of bias, misinformation, and manipulation on important topics, whether it’s in your personal lives, professional life, or in public sector policy and politics.
